The Grand Opening
The Chiemgauhof – Lakeside Retreat, run by hosts Uschi and Dieter Müller, was officially opened with a glittering celebration. Celebrities, neighbours and friends of the establishment celebrated the new premier destination in Feldwieser Bucht on the shores of Lake Chiemsee in Übersee until the early hours of the morning.
Champagne, oysters and Flying Chiemsee sushi for 400 guests
The opening at the Chiemgauhof got off to a delightful start with champagne, oysters and Flying Chiemsee sushi. The musical highlight was provided by Jennifer Lynn, winner of “The Voice of Germany”, who wowed the 400-plus guests with energetic pop songs. There was exuberant celebrating across the terrace, bar, boathouse and jetty – in style and with a catwalk vibe by the lake. Among the celebrities who didn’t want to miss this grand spectacle on the gentle waves were, amongst others: August Zirner, Heidi Beckenbauer, Christian Neureuther, Dr Daniel Terberger with Elisabeth, Duchess of Bavaria, Cathy Hummels, Kinga Mathe, Birgit and Franz Georg Strauß, Marina and Christian Wolff.

LaBrassBanda – a home game
“LaBrassBanda” provided the high-energy highlight – from the very first note, Stefan Dettl’s ensemble played unplugged, getting the guests up and dancing to their hypnotic Bavarian funk. The sound was a perfect match for the laid-back atmosphere on the riverbank. As is well known, LaBrassaBanda are also from overseas, so their performance was a real home game.
